Kurokawa proactively takes on wrong verdicts, known to be almost impossible to reverse, and has won several cases. He reenacts what actually happened at the crime scenes using experiments to prove what really went on. He relentlessly sheds light on the preconceived notions, biases, and inconsistencies in the investigations. Whenever he can, he likes to wear comfortable clothes and carries around a cloth bag with all sorts of things in it that help him establish rapport with others. He is always short of cash.
Attorney Kurokawa tenaciously and passionately attempts the miraculous overturning of convictions using "science" as his weapon in this reversal of fortune drama.
